By the way on the drive we were in sunshine and had this amazing view of a giant "cumulus congestus" cloud that I only realized when you called was right over your heads. I think I had the better view.

That's 2 weeks in a row! So much for me moving to Tuesday night class--0 for 2 so far. I'm not claiming credit for the rain-outs, though.

No 7:30 Tuesday night class
Rogue cells,(Jims words) and hail have spoiled the day:( It was sunny and the expectation was to have class, darn it anyway. We had so much hail on the ground I thought we could go skiing down the hill.

Ok I changed my mind, a rogue cell just came in and totally drenched us with rain and hail. Things are too wet even if it does stop soon. Please e-mail me to let me know you recieved this message.

Hi all, the 6:00 pm class will be held. Check back about 5:30 for status of the 7:30 class. Weather.com only shows a 10% chance of rain the rest of the night, and that opinion seems to be supported by the radar images. The footing is not that bad. Hope you can make it!

It's Tuesday, so, it must be raining. The Langer Effect is indicating large amounts of precipitation. In other words, the 9:00 and 10:30 classes are canceled because of rain.

The Friday 9:00am class is canceled for today. The winds are picking up and it would be uncomfortable and unsafe to have dogs on the field when a storm in rolling in.
I will be sending out some links for videos and some handouts so make the most of your morning and review these new things as well as the older stuff sent out in the past.

Hi,
Jim said to put a message up about classes, but I think it is hardly necessary:) Is there ANY where in the bay area that is not stormy/rainy and could anyone possible think we could train in this? But knowing all your dedication to training, someone would probably show up if we did not say... NO class Tuesday morning, and extremely doubtfulof course that we will have classes Tuesday night. But more on that later.
Stay dry, do some groundwork in your living room, work your stays & plays.

Monday classes
Noon and 4 PM classes are canceled and it is likely that the evening class is also canceled. It is raining cows and horses up here, the cats and dogs are hiding in the house with US:)
Figure out some fun indoor games with your dog. Scoop and I are working on 2o2o tugging and staying games. As long as he keeps his rear feet on the stool I keep tugging like crazy with him. I stop tugging and ask him to give me the toy if his rear feet come off. Sometimes I put his toy out in front of him out of reach when he has his rear legs on the stool and tease him into coming off. He gets released to the toy if he stays on. That is our indoor training game for today.
